Discuss this system

The objective

A system the operation can actually use.

A useful camera system is more than a collection of devices. Alpha plans fields of view, lighting, retention, network demand, and user access together so footage is available when the business actually needs it.

01

Better coverage of entrances, assets, and operational pinch points

02

Appropriate image detail for the scene and business objective

03

Simpler retrieval, export, and authorized remote access

Capabilities

What the scope can include

  • IP and compatible legacy camera systems
  • NVR and video-management platforms
  • Interior, exterior, low-light, and specialty camera selection
  • Remote viewing and role-based user access
  • PoE switching and camera network coordination
  • System health checks, service, and expansion

Project path

Survey. Define. Deliver.

01

Define the scenes, risks, retention needs, and authorized users.

02

Engineer camera placement, bandwidth, storage, power, and pathways as one system.

03

Commission coverage, recording, alerts, exports, and staff training before handoff.

Common questions

Before the site visit

How long should a business retain video?

Retention depends on risk, policy, storage, and how quickly incidents are discovered. Alpha sizes storage around an agreed retention target and actual camera settings.

Can we view cameras from multiple locations?

Yes, when the selected platform, network, and security policy support it. Multi-site viewing is planned with least-privilege access and practical administration in mind.
